Credit transfer

As a PhD student you will send your application for credit transfer to the PhD education coordinator.

Application form for credit transfer

With the application you should always enclose
1. A course certificate that shows what course it is and including your name.

2. A course plan, or a detailed course description, which shows the level of the course, content, course length, study goals, what has been tested and how.

3. The page with planned postgraduate courses of your (the PhD student's) individual study plan showing that the course is intended to be a part of the PhD student's education. 

Note that education components such as formalised literature studies, visits to another laboratory and scientific conference, are not credit transfers. They must be approved by the Director of studies and registered in Ladok as a usual course. There is a special form for education components (see below).

Approval after application for credit transfer from the mandatory introductioncours/Obligatory PhD course is decided by the chairman of FUR. Note that only a course which is equivalent to the entire mandatory introduction course/Obligatory PhD course can be considered for credit transfer.
